Be sure to get the latest OS in yours too.OS 2.26. Fill it up with ROMS and you have 128MB of sounds. You really cant ask for more in a one space module. The housing and the features of this synth are great. Dont grade this P2000 on the composer ROM. I have all of them and they are really awesome to work with. You gotta experiment with the other ROMS.

The composer ROM that comes in this puppy is good but no where hear as cool as the other ROMs that are available from EMU. With the variety of ROMs available you can do any kind of music that you can imagine. If you dont like it, there are 15 or 16 other ROMs to put in the 4 slots that are absolutely incredible. Can send midiProgramNames to hosts that support it.The key to the proteus 2000 is to realize that you are NOT stuck with the composer ROM.
